Traffic reduced to one lane for 'urgent repairs' in Glasgow's Clyde Tunnel

The Clyde Tunnel has been reduced to one lane to facilitate urgent repair works.

Glasgow City Council's Traffic Control and Management team (TRAFFCOM) have confirmed works on the A739 Northbound will take place from today (Monday) and continue until further notice.

They have noted that delays should be expected as a result.

TRAFFCOM say: "Due to an urgent repair being required, the A739 Clyde Tunnel Northbound has been reduced to one lane until further notice.

"Delays should be expected."
