Traffic delays following collision in Co Antrim

Motorists are being warned of delays following a collision at the Bann Bridge in Portglenone.

Police are currently at the scene of the two vehicle collision which took place in the Clady Road area of the Co Antrim town at around 2.30pm today.

While the road remains open, drivers are being warned to take caution due to an oil spillage in the area.

Translink have said that its Ulsterbus 127 services have been impacted by the collision and are warning passengers of delays due to it.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured as a result of the collision.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are currently at the scene of a two vehicle road traffic collision in the Clady Road area of Portglenone.

"The road is open, however motorists should drive with caution as an oil spillage has been reported."
