An urgent recall has been issued for kids' toys sold online over safety fears.
Irish parents have been advised to get rid of two toys sold online on Shein and Amazon in a warning by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. One of the toys is a "1 pc Bear Design Pet Plush Toy sold" on Shein.

But the toy's brand and barcode are unknown. Around 12 affected products have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.
A notice on the CCPC website reads: "If you purchased one of these products, please discontinue use immediately, discard the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. Shein will refund the purchase price to you. If you wish to contact Shein for any concerns or questions about this product this can be done via your user account on the platform."
Separately the "myHodo Magnetic Balls" sold on Amazon have been recalled over injury worries. The notice on the website reads: "If a child swallows two or more magnets with a magnetic flux above the permitted limit, the magnets may attract each other and cause internal obstruction and/or perforation."
The model type/model number is Magnetkugeln bunt 5 mm but the barcode and Amazon item number are unknown.
Parents and guardians have been urged to discontinue use immediately, discard the product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children. You can also contact Amazon to see if you're entitled to a refund.
