Toyah Wilcox says 80's star Hazel O'Connor is "in her prayers" after she suffered a bleed on the brain.
Taking to Twitter, the singer shared a trio of photos from their glory days and recent snaps where the pair were rehearsing for a joint tour.
The 63-year-old wrote: "Dearest Hazel you are in our prayers, you are in good hands and we love you, Toyah xxx"
Toyah is still planning to take the stage with Hazel for their Electric Ladies of the 80s gig in June this year.
Hazel, who invited Duran Duran to join her tour as a support act before they hit the big time, suffered a bleed on the brain on January 9.
The 66-year-old was found at her home in South West France after suffering a "serious medical event", the family said in a statement.
She was placed in a coma for 24 hours and is said to be responding to the treatment.
Her brother Neil O'Connor said: "On Sunday last, 9/01/2022, Hazel was discovered at her place in SW France and was found to have suffered a serious medical event.
"She was taken to her local hospital where it was determined that she’d had a bleeding on the brain and that she should be transferred to a major hospital where her condition could more effectively monitored.
"On Sunday things were touch and go and the next 24 hours would determine how her recovery may go.
He added: "She was put into an induced coma for about 24 hrs and brought out of it Monday evening and since then has been showing a lot of progress although, saying that, her recovery is going to take a while but she is tough and is responding to stimuli and to treatment."
He asked fans for their "positive thoughts, vibes and intentions" and said he's learned that she's "already started to show her usual feistiness".
Hazel's management team released a statement about the Electric Ladies of the 80s tour: “No one knows what progress Hazel will make or when. You could be thinking, Hazel should not be doing any shows in the foreseeable future.”
