Producers of Toy Show The Musical are on the hunt for a talented young girl to take on the lead role of Nell in the show when it plays at Dublin's Convention Centre this Christmas.
The musical opens on December 10 and promises to bring audiences on a magical journey, inspired by the legendary annual Late Late Toy Show.
Casting applications opened today on Toy Show The Musical’s website with producers on the lookout for a talented young starlet to take on the role of Nell in the brand new original Irish musical.

Nell is described as "a bright and brilliant 12-year-old girl with a wonderful spirit and great singing and dancing skills".
The casting director for Toy Show The Musical is Maureen Hughes who previously casted roles in Once, The Butcher Boy, Love/Hate, Raw and Charlie.
Auditionees should be between the ages of 11-16 with a playing age of 12 years old.
The application process is straightforward and involves recording a short video and filling out an application form.
Maureen Hughes and show's director Seimi Campbell will be reviewing the application videos.
Each video should include the auditionee singing a verse and chorus of a song of their choice, describing a bit about themselves including any experience they may have in singing, acting, dancing or playing an instrument and any interesting hobbies or party pieces they might have.
Successful applicants will then be shortlisted for an in-person audition which will held in June at a venue in Dublin city centre. Auditionee’s will meet Maureen Hughes and perform a monologue or short poem. They will also be asked to sing.
Full details and terms and conditions can be found at www.rte.ie/toyshowthemusical.
