Former The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins has reportedly closed her clothing brand after she signed a seven-figure deal with New Look.
The reality TV star, 41, ran her boutique during her stint on the popular ITV2 show before it went bust in 2018 but has now closed the own brand for good following her huge deal with the fashion retailer. She founded Gemma Collins Collection in 2013 and also set up Gemma Collins Ltd to handle her TV appearances such as, Splash!, I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice.
Gemma agreed to the long-term deal with New Look in April, where she had an extravagant launch party to celebrate the contract.
It is not the only deal the savvy TV personality has landed in the last few years, with the 'GC' being the face of laundry detergent Surf, Hungarian low-cost airline Whizz Air and freemium online game Bingo Blitz. A source from the fashion industry told The Sun about the deal: "It had been Gemma’s dream to have her own clothes range since she was a kid and it was popular with customers.
"But now she’s an ambassador for New Look it didn’t make sense for her to continue with her own range as she’ll be designing clothes with the firm's creative team. New Look is one of the biggest in the business so she took the difficult decision to close down her own range."
Earlier on Monday, Gemma wowed fans as she posed in a stunning Pamela Anderson -inspired Baywatch themed photo. She oozed confidence as she posed in a red swimsuit in the photo, which is a throwback snap from her 2018 campaign with Boohoo.
In the image, a confident Gemma poses in the red swimsuit, which has a bardot-style sleeve and frilly detailing. She is standing with her hand on her hip while looking away from the lens while holding onto a lifeguard's float.
Gemma shared the throwback photo on her Instagram page on Monday morning, she penned in the caption: "BAYWATCH BABY" followed by a kissing emoji. Hundreds of Gemma's followers were quick to compliment the star on the stunning photo, which was captured during a photoshoot on a Marbella beach in 2018.
One wrote: "Looking fabulous xx", while another person commented: "You gorgeous girl I love you". A third said: "Yes Gemma!!!.. wish I had your confidence!!, while TOWIE's official Instagram page replied: "More like, Bae Watch" followed by a love heart eyes emoji and a red love heart.
The Mirror has contacted Gemma's representatives for comment.
