TOWIE star Gemma Collins says she was 'blown away' when she started her 'spiritual journey' at the 'birthplace of baby Jesus' in Bethlehem on New Year's Day
Gemma posted about her "unbelievable luck" at being able to visit the place "where baby Jesus was born and touch the spot" on Instagram. The TOWIE star, 39, says the feeling of being at the site where Jesus is believed to have been brought into the world gave her a feeling "like nothing I've ever felt before".
Gemma, who has previously claimed to be a prophet put on Earth to help end the pain and suffering of others, said she was totally blown away by the experience and she is now looking forward to her spiritual journey this year.
Sharing a picture on Instagram of her at the site in Bethlehem, she wrote: "I can’t believe I’ve been so unbelievably lucky to have been where baby Jesus was born and touch the spot I am totally blown away and looking forward to my spiritual journeys in 2023. the feeling of this was like nothing I’ve ever felt before I can’t even describe what I felt in that moment I was totally blown away #bethlehem #newyearsday2023."
The post attracted plenty of likes and emilylucas90 shared, "she's living the dream", while pop brothers Jeward added, "Gemma you’re our religion."
Gemma has previously compared herself to to Jesus, telling her BBC podcast: "I honestly think I was put on the Earth to be some sort of prophet. It is something I will talk about in time.
"I have endured pain and suffering in my life, things haven't always been easy, I have suffered. And now I can help people in their lives."
Gemma also thinks she has some spiritual connection with nature and that she believes she could be a witch. She said: "I think I'm a witch because I'm very connected to nature.
"The difference between white witches and dark witches is that a white witch is very spiritual, into nature and can make magic happen. That is me.
"Dark witches focus on dark magic, black magic and all kinds of horrible things. I don't believe white witches have warts on them either, or pointy noses."
She also spoke about her belief in lizard people, who she says secretly get around London by using the Queen's hidden network of underground tunnels. She said: "My theory is - and this is a little bit weird - I believe there are lizards living amongst us. If you are a lizard, get in touch with me.
"There's been so many reports that there are different kinds of species living in the UK and around the world - I want to meet you, I want to touch you, I want to smell you, I want to know more."
