Yazmin Oukhellou has shared a sweet tribute to her parents, thanking them for their support after the fatal crash which killed her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jake McLean.
The TOWIE star, 28, is currently on holiday in Morocco with her mum Lisa and dad Hamid, as she tries to heal two months after the tragic accident in Turkey. Yazmin suffered serious injuries in the crash and took to a wellness retreat in Marrakech to begin her healing process.
Sharing some family snaps from Nikki Beach, Yazmin wrote a heartfelt message for her parents on Instagram and said she is "forever grateful" for their support.
"Yesterday was a day I’ll never forget. With the two people I love the most.
"I truly have put my mum and dad through hell with worry. As much as I went through such an awful trauma it has made closer than ever to them.
"Some days for me can be such a struggle where I just want to stay in bed and hide away from the world behind the glossy pics I post but I know that with the support of my mum and dad I’ll be okay.
"For that I am forever grateful. Love Yaz," she penned.
Yazmin also posted videos and pictures of her parents on her Instagram Stories and said she loved them "so much".
The reality star added: "Aww I put my parents through hell they nearly lost their daughter, This makes today so special I can't even tell you!
"Sorry if I'm posting a lot I'm just truly grateful for the memories I've made today."
Yazmin and Jake were involved in the fatal crash on July 3. Jake was killed when his blue Mercedes E class saloon crashed in Bodrum.
Yazmin was left with serious injuries after she had to break her own arm to escape the wreckage.
The crash took place in the early hours of the morning and investigators have said the car hurtled around 70 feet over a left turn bend and landed in a ravine almost 30 feet below.
Jake was pronounced dead at the scene while Yazmin was rushed to hospital, where she underwent treatment for her injured arm.
After the crash, Yazmin managed to stop a passing motorist for help. She has since said she is still coping with post traumatic stress following her return to the UK.
