TOWIE’s Yazmin Oukhellou clambered up a ravine before screaming “help me, help me, my friend is dead” after the fatal car crash that killed her on/off boyfriend Jake McLean, according to reports.

The reality star TV couple were in the car when it plunged off a cliff and into a ravine in the tourist resort of Bodrum, Turkey; the crash killed McLean aged 33.

Officials told how despite an injury to her arm she headed up a thorny hill to seek help from passing motorists.

There have been reports the couple were having a “loud row” at a nightclub before McLean drove them in the car that come off the road at around 4.30am on Sunday, according to The Sun.

An official from the Turkish Prosecutors Office in Bodrum, told MailOnline that McLean died at the scene but Oukhellou was lucky to be alive.

They said: “Yazmin’s arm was bleeding and she somehow managed to get to the road. A passing car stopped, and the driver helped her with her injury and called emergency services.

“Jake died at the scene despite the attempts of paramedics to save him. Ambulance, police and fire fighters were there very quickly but this was a very bad smash and most of the damage to the car was caused to the driver’s side.”

Oukhellou’s representative gave an update saying the TV star was in a “stable condition” while recovering in hospital.

Her representative said: “Yazmin is stable and recovering in hospital after surgery. Yazmin and her family have requested privacy at this time.”

Oukhellou made her Towie debut in 2017 and her relationship with co-star James Lock was documented on the reality TV show.

The TOWIE starlet and McLean confirmed their romance in December.

However, by January, their romance appeared to be over as Oukhellou told her fans they had split on Instagram.

TOWIE stars have been sending their well wishes to Oukhellou on social media following the crash.

Fellow Towie star Harry Derbidge posted pictures of himself and Oukhellou on his Instagram stories and said he was wishing her a speedy recovery.

A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesman said: “We are supporting the family of a British man who died in Turkey and are in contact with the local authorities.

“We are also providing support to the family of a British woman who has been hospitalised.”
