The Only Way Is Essex star Junaid Ahmed has hit out at Chloe Meadows and Courtney Green, calling them "boring" after they were seen throwing shade at his pal Dani Imbert.
Junaid, 27, joined the TOWIE cast in the latest series of the show and has certainly made an impression on cast members and viewers for his fierce loyalty and outspoken approach on the series so far.
In recent scenes, Junaid joined his close friend Dani, 24, to confront Courtney, 27, and 31-year-old Chloe over them appearing to throw shade at Dani in an Instagram story.
The duo had posted a video of themselves in a car with Dani's ex Liam Gatsby, who they recently reconciled with following a fall out, singing along to Justin Bieber's Love Yourself.
In the song, a lyric reads: "But when you told me that you hated my friends, the only problem was with you and not them", which the group sing in the clip.
Dani then took offence to the post, and was seen telling Junaid: "Chloe and Courtney are obviously a problem but Liam, as my ex, we might not be on the best terms but have a bit of maturity about you – why are you indirecting me?"
Later, Junaid and Dani were seen confronting Courtney and Chloe, which then turned into an argument before the duo stormed off.
Now, in an exclusive interview with the Mirror, the TOWIE newbie has slammed Courtney and Chloe.
When asked about the argument, he said: "Courtney and Chloe got the axe on TOWIE a few years ago because they are boring and then they got bought back.
"I don't know why they got bought back because they are probably the two most boring girls I've ever met in my whole life."
He then added: "If you're going to be nasty and disrespectful and rude to my best friend, I will always stand up for them and Courtney and Chloe's behaviour was not acceptable.
"What they did was b***hy and spiteful. [It] shows a lot at their big age of 30 how they like to react when Justin Bieber songs come on. I mean, it is what it is."
The TOWIE newbie continued: "Some people are so bored of their lives they can't think about anyone else but my friendship group.
"So yeah, I mean, they came back to TOWIE this year, they knew they had to to bring something to the show because they haven't bought nothing in the last five years they've been on it, so they tried to come for me and Dani – probably the wrong two people to come for."
Junaid has cemented himself as a big character on the ITVBe reality show in his debut series and insisted he's been nothing but authentic.
He said: "You've seen my happy moments, you've seen me upset and crying, you see me arguing... You've seen a lot of different emotions to me.
"I stand by everything I said while I was filming, there's nothing I regret or anything."
Junaid then added: "I think obviously I do come across a lot more b***hy but it's me in those circumstances and situations. I was quite b***hy and very straightforward, which I had to be because of the scenarios that were happening.
"I'm happy with how I'm being shown. Next series, obviously, you'll see a bit different sides to me because it's my first series but you just never know really what to expect – you never know what's going to happen, you just kind of go into it.
"I've got no regrets or nothing I would change overall. I think if you know me as a person, you know, that I'm actually lovely but if you get on the wrong side of me, I will ruin your life."
