Jordan Brook touched many The Only Way Is Essex viewers' hearts with emotional scenes this series.
The TOWIE hunk, 25, made a return to the programme after four years and, shortly after jetting to the Dominican Republic with the cast, he discovered his mum had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
In an effort to cheer her up and raise some funds for the fight against breast cancer, Jordan organised a fundraiser with the TOWIE cast.
Jordan rallied his Essex pals up, who put on a variety of performances to raise some cash. At the end of the event, he invited his beloved mum up on stage, who then delivered some news to the audience and to her son.
She said: "I've just got something to tell Jordan and I can tell you as well, all my test results today were clear!"
The audience and Jordan cheered before the Essex hunk broke down while hugging his mum.
"I didn't know that," he said as his mum explained: "I didn't text him before I came," and the mother and son shared a hug as the audience let out an "aww".
Jordan's mum had an operation on her breast to remove the cancer and the tests were to see if it had spread.
He explained to the Mirror: "She'd had the cancer cut out of breast and the results from surrounding areas, so to make sure it hadn't spread.
"All her lymph nodes were, negative – the lump had gone and there was no cancer left in the body."
Jordan added: "She still had to go for her radiotherapy, but the cancer had gone."
After receiving the good news, Jordan has opened up to the Mirror about that special moment shared in front of the cameras, which he said was the 'best moment of his life'.
Recalling the heartfelt moment, he said: "It was honestly it was the biggest shock ever".
He later added: "So knowing that the dark bit was at my mum's body, I can't explain. I can't really explain the feeling.
"I don't think I've have ever had a time when I've cried happy tears. I just couldn't control myself.
"It was it was so overwhelming and so emotional and I think you can see that in the entire room – everybody felt the same.
"It was a it was a real special, special moment."
The TOWIE star gushed: "That was probably one of the best moments of my life.
"And I was so glad, it means so much – like how lucky am I that special moment has been caught [on camera] and we can watch it back forever and ever."
When asked about his mother's health now he said she is "doing really, really well".
"She's finished her course of radiotherapy," he said. "She about about 10 sessions of radiotherapy on her breast in the end and she's been put on to tablets. So, five years worth of tablets to keep it from coming back."
