TOWIE fans have expressed their discomfort after Yazmin Oukhello appeared in the new series, in scenes filmed weeks before suffering in a horror crash which saw her on-off boyfriend Jake McLean die.
The star, 28, was discharged from hospital in July after being left seriously injured in a crash that killed Jake in Turkey earlier that month.
Doctors reportedly told Yaz she was 'lucky' to have survived, but was left with serious damage to her arm.
The influencer appeared in the new series of TOWIE, which aired tonight on ITVbe, in scenes filmed before the tragic collision.
She joined her co-stars on holiday in the Dominican Republic and spoke about her relationship with James Lock, who she broke up with last year.
The clips were reportedly filmed weeks before the terrifying smash, but some Towie viewers felt uncomfortable watching the episode, knowing what was going to happen to Yaz.
One person wrote: "Feel a bit uneasy watching Yaz knowing weeks after this was filmed she nearly died."
Another asked: "when was the filmed as yaz is in it?"
A third said: "The producers should have advised Yaz not to take part in this season and to rest. This just seems a bit much."
Finally, one person wrote: "Awh i just know lockie would of been so worried about yaz after her accident seeing how friendly they are."
Jake's funeral was held last week, and was attended by ex-Lauran Goodger, James Argent and Liam Gatsby, among others.
Yazmin did not appear to have attended, but took to Instagram that evening to share a heartfelt post about Jake.
She wrote: "I have been taking some time away from social media to fully focus on my mental and physical recovery. I needed this time away to work on healing and processing everything as best as I can.
"This has taught me that life is so short and we must cherish our loved ones as much as possible.
"I am so grateful for our memories and the special time that Jake and I shared. I’ve not stopped thinking about him and I’ll miss him always. He will forever hold a special place in my heart.
"I want to thank everyone for their support and lovely messages. I truly appreciate each and every single one of you.
"Love Yaz."
Her friends flooded the comments with their condolences, with Molly-Mae writing: "I’m so sorry Yazmin. Truly thinking of you."
Following the accident, Yazmin revealed last month that she suffered nightmares after the night.
Speaking to The Sun, the brave star revealed: "I have nightmares every single night since the accident.
“I have not stopped waking up in the night about it. Mum stays in bed with me every night.
Yazmin was forced to break her own arm when trying to escape the car due to being trapped and badly bleeding.
