It's been a year since players have been invited to test their skill in the tower. A lot has happened and for the 1-year anniversary Tower of God: New World, there's special in-game updates to enjoy along with limited-time events to join and special rewards to earn
The anniversary is actually on July 17 and before that date, players are invited to pre-register for the anniversary celebration.
Once the anniversary date arrives, there's going to be a series of '1st Anniversary Vacation Festival!'-themed events happening. One of these is the 1st Anniversary Vacation Festival Story Event which offers multiple rewards that include Nonstop SSR+ Limit Break Summon Ticket, SSR Teammate Max Limit Break Chest, and Suspendiums, to name a few.
Meanwhile, those who return to the game during the event period get to receive 100% of the Loot they missed during the period they didn't log in. There's also a special event which offers a full set of A-Rank Ignition Weapons available for returning players.
Players can also look forward to the Invite-a-Friend Event which starts July 17. This allows them to invite new users to the game. If the invited players are able to clear their given missions, both the inviting and invited players get to receive obtain Black Market Tickets, Revolution Fragment, and SSR+ Teammate Soulstone. Other rewards can also be earned under certain conditions.
By the way, new special title for the 1-year anniversary, "Chosen by the Tower," is awarded to all players.
Interesting Figures
Aside from the announcement of the celebration, Netmarble also revealed some rather interesting data for the game. For instance, it seems that at least 1.4 billion teammates were summoned in the game. It's also interesting not that the character who has reached max Limit Break the most was Yihwa Yeon. She's followed by Hatz and Hwaryun. The most-challenged boss of the Underground Laboratory was Data Khun Mascheny, challenged by players 9.5 million times.
In Tower of God: New World, players can take control of fan-favorite characters to ascend the Tower. The game is available on Google Play and the App Store while the PC version is available to download from Google Play Games Beta.
