Tourists 'speechless' at UK beach with white sands 'like Seychelles' and waterfalls

The UK has heaps of breathtaking beaches, including some that are so ridiculously pretty they've been compared to the Caribbean.

Now, one beach has been likened to the Seychelles, leaving tourists 'speechless' thanks to its gorgeous white sands, crystal-clear waters, and ethereal waterfalls hidden along the rocky coastline.

Nanjizal beach in Cornwall, also known as Mill Bay, is a stunning beach and private cove in the west of the county, and although you'll need sturdy walking shoes to reach it, it's well worth it for the views, reports GloucestershireLive.

Still, described as one of Cornwall's 'secret treasures', it makes for a pretty Instagram-worthy day out.

As well as the fine sands and swim-friendly waters, you'll find impressive caves and rock formations, not to mention there are even wild ponies to be found grazing nearby.

Getting to the beach isn't particularly easy, with plenty of visitors warning that you need to prepare for a bit of a hike, and warning that there is no car park nearby so it's not particularly accessible.

The beach can be reached via a tall, narrow passageway that the sea has worn through the cliffs called Zawn Pyg, and you'll often spot plenty of wildlife such as seals, dolphins and heaps of different birds.

Over on TripAdvisor people have been raving about the spot, giving it an impressive 4/4.5 stars.

One person wrote: "Amazing beach!!!!!! Dogs friendly. The view for ocean is breathtaking!!!!!! Everywhere beautiful rocks and stones. When is beautiful weather it looks amazing, nearly like Seychelles and it's England... can't believe !!!! Water is turquoise.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worth to see it!!!!!"

Another added: "Absolutely stunning cove beach. About 45 minutes walk from Lands End along stunning cliff scenes. Wear comfortable footwear, have some drinks and snacks. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of an unspoiled small beach with a cave and enjoy chilling."

It seems that the sandy shore impresses whether you're visiting at low or high tide.

One visitor wrote: "I visited at high tide, the waves rolled and crashed against the rocky beach and cliff faces. The walk to get there was just glorious, hard going but the views are incredible."

However another who went at low tide was equally impressed: "This beach is picture postcard stunning! Tucked away from the crowds it's one of Cornwall's hidden gems. We walked about 40mins along the coastal path from Lands End car park to reach it. It's a stunning walk, not too difficult.

"Try and time your visit to a low tide so that you can swing in the turquoise clear water rock pools, although high tide is still beautiful. It loses a star because when we went we saw 3 different people letting their dogs use it as a toilet, not nice."
