The West Country is filled with beautiful and interesting places to visit, but not every tourist has enjoyed their trip to our county. Boscastle, in Cornwall, was listed on a social media thread as a place a visitor would never revisit after they left "as quickly" as they could.
No Context Brits, a Twitter account, asked people about places they would never revisit. Benidorm, Blackpool and even London received some blows in the thread that followed, reports Cornwall Live.
And Boscastle wasn't the only Cornish location listed. Overcommercialism and being "overrun with tourists" were just two of the reasons people wouldn't return.
St Ives, Land's End and The Eden Project were also mentioned. Here's what people had to say about why they would never return to these places in Cornwall:
One person wrote: "Lands End. Ruined by commercialism", another said: "The Eden Project. I'm sorry to say it was overly commercialised, I was very disappointed."
A third wrote: "It has to be #Boscastle in #Cornwall. Easily the most unnerving atmosphere I've ever felt. We spent the morning there and left as quickly as we could #wickerman."
Another tourist wasn't impressed with St Ives, they said: "Controversial maybe, but St Ives in Cornwall. Beautiful coastal fishing town, completely overrun and ruined with tourists. Must be hell for the locals."
