Tourists heading on a holiday in the next few months have been urged to check they meet Covid vaccination restrictions.
France joined Spain and Denmark last week by changing vaccine rules, requiring anyone who completed their jabs more than nine months ago to have a booster to enter.
The new rules mean that millions of people in the UK who haven't had their Covid jab could be denied entry.
People who had their second dose more than 270 days ago before mid-May in 2021 would also need to have a booster if they travel on February 12.
Greece has brought the limit down further to seven months, while Austria requires boosters after 180 days since their latest vaccine.
More than 37 million people in the UK have had their booster jab - that's 65% of over-12s.
People travelling to Italy, Croatia and Switzerland will not be denied entry but may find it harder to go to restaurants and museums without a booster jab.
In France, it's a legal requirement to have a vaccine pass to enter shops, restaurants, theatres, events, ski lifts bars and cinemas.
Unvaccinated Brits may currently only enter France if they have a "compelling reason" and unjabbed tourists are prohibited.
These updated booster rules apply only to travellers aged 18 and over. Those aged 13-17 inclusive need only have had two jabs to be considered fully vaccinated.
Children aged 12 and below do not need to be vaccinated to enter France.
France follows Spain, which announced that only vaccination certificates stating that a traveller has received their final dose within the last 270 days will be recognised.
Both countries are following the updated recommendations from the EU, which advise that travellers should be recognised as fully vaccinated for no more than nine months after their last jab.
It comes as travel restrictions in the UK are set to change from February 11.
From 4am on February 11, fully vaccinated passengers arriving in the UK will no longer have to take a post-arrival coronavirus test.
All they'll need to do is fill out a passenger locator form. Anyone under 18 arriving in the UK will be treated as an eligible fully vaccinated passenger.
