A tourist visiting the Lake District has left a baffling review detailing their time at the stunning national park - because they complained there are "too many" lakes.
Many of us will know that the Lake District, in Cumbria, is known - as its name suggests - for its glacial ribbon lakes and being home to several rugged fell mountains, including the famous Scafell Pike.
And while hundreds of thousands of visitors flock to the region every year, it seems not everyone leaves the national park - which is the largest in England and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017 - feeling closer to nature, Lancs Live reports.
In fact, one tourist recently left a scathing review on the popular site TripAdvisor where they had just one complaint that they wanted everyone to hear - that the Lake District has too many lakes.

The user started their review by stating they're "not fond of lakes" in the first place, before admitting they didn't expect there to be quite so many bodies of water in the region.
In their post, the user wrote: "As somebody who is not fond of lakes (too wet) I was expecting there to be some lakes but not this many! By God, there are lakes everywhere! My advice is to steer clear if you find lakes unpleasant as they can't really be avoided."
Although that reviewer had a less than ideal time at the Lake District, many more tourists have left glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, with one person calling the park an "amazing and beautiful area of Britain".
Someone wrote: "We spent three magnificent days walking around the many trails which the lake district has to offer and we were never disappointed once. The views are absolutely stunning and I've never used the word 'wow' so much. Every view is a 'wow' moment, would definitely recommend a trip."
While someone else said: "Amazing and beautiful area of Britain with so many things to see and do."
There are also other negative reviews to be found, though most advise people to "stay away" from particularly busy areas because of the build-up of traffic.
One person stated: "I have visited the Lake District many, many times; the scenery is fantastic and the towns welcoming.
"However, at the moment I can only say stay away. Keswick is so crowded as to be unbearable, Kendal is traffic, traffic, traffic. Every layby between the two was full, and the standard of driving we saw was appalling, especially from motorcyclists frustrated with the traffic."
