South Sydney are approaching their next five games as if they are a rock band on tour with players handed commemorative t-shirts to signify the start of a season-defining month.
The club has given players black t-shirts emblazoned with SS/FC (South Sydney Football Club) in the style of the AC/DC logo on the front.
On the back are the club's fixtures listed as if they were tour dates, starting with Friday's trip to the Sunshine Coast to take on Brisbane.
It's the first of five fixtures on the road with Wests Tigers in Tamworth, Cronulla in Perth, St George Illawarra in Cairns and a trip to face Newcastle rounding out a hectic month for Jason Demetriou's men.
It sounds like a rockstar's dream, but given what is at stake the Rabbitohs won't be driving cars into swimming pools or throwing TVs out of hotel room windows.
The period could have massive ramifications for Souths, who are sat eighth with an 10-8 record, and are aiming to claw their way back into the NRL's top four.
"We know what's on the line, that's for sure," said prop Tom Burgess.
"It's such a tight competition this year and we've just got to back ourselves and know that if we play our footy we can get the job done.
"It's going to be a camp feel and I think if you can embrace that it can really help your team."
The theme of the tour, which is entitled 'Build The Wall', was devised by head coach Demetriou and the club's head of performance Andrew Croll.
Good performances, debuts and in-game goals are rewarded with a brick on the wall at the club's Maroubra training base.
"I really like what JD has done with it and the boys have jumped on board," Burgess said. " It's a powerful thing when 17 blokes are all thinking the same thing."
Souths have been boosted by their State of Origin quartet of Cody Walker, Damien Cook, Cameron Murray and Keaon Koloamatangi returning from Game III unscathed.
Latrell Mitchell is also set for a timely return after missing the last two months with a calf problem.
"It definitely freshens you up, you know you've not played every game and you've got more to give," Burgess said. "It's all about timing your run."
