The OVO Energy Tour of Britain comes to Greater Manchester this weekend.
As one of the most prestigious cycling events in Britain, it's definitely not one to be missed - especially when it's right on your doorstep.
The renowned race commenced in Glasgow on September 7, but will be making its way through the region on Saturday, September 14 for its final leg.
The route for Stage 8 includes all 10 boroughs, meaning that the race will pass through Gee Cross, Hattersley, Mottram, Stalybridge and Mossley.
Tameside Council is encouraging everyone to celebrate the event by decorating the route; for example, by dressing it with hanging baskets, painted bicycles and bunting.
However, celebrations in the borough will continue over the weekend with the Tameside Bicycle Festival on Sunday, September 15.
Expect hints and tips from a panel of experts, an obstacle course and wheel art - all taking place from 11am until 3pm at Stalybridge town centre.
