The Metropolitan Police has shared a touching moment where a young boy was brought out of the crowds outside Buckingham Palace to get a better view of the Changing of the Guard.
Officers spotted the youngster getting upset because of the large crowd who had gathered to watch the ceremony.
To help calm the boy down officers invited him over the barrier to have a closer view of the famous handover.

The force said a bumper-sized crowd had assembled to watch the procession, which takes around 45 minutes.
A photo posted by the Royal Parks Police on social media showed the boy watching alongside an officer on the road.
Meanwhile, crowds that are around five people deep try to have a peak at the soldiers leave Buckingham Palace.
The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place when the King's Guard hands over responsibility for protecting Buckingham Palace and St. James' Palace to the New Guard.
