After signing his first professional contract this summer, Scarlett has enjoyed an encouraging pre-season, scoring Spurs’ first goal under Nuno Espirito Santo against Leyton Orient and earning minutes vs Chelsea and Arsenal.
It remains to be seen what role he will play in the season ahead but with Spurs still chasing another striker and Harry Kane’s mindset uncertain, Scarlett could earn some more top-flight minutes before the end of the month.
Tottenham’s youngest-ever player and scorer signed his first professional contract a week ago and will be hoping for more minutes under Nuno this season.
The early stages of the Europa Conference League should offer him that opportunity but he may look for a loan move in January.
