Tottenham XI vs Middlesbrough: Confirmed team news, starting lineup and injury latest for FA Cup game today

Tottenham travel to Middlesbrough for an FA Cup fifth-round tie today with their injured stars yet to overcome their issues.

Oliver Skipp (infection), Rodrigo Bentancur (ankle), Japhet Tanganga (knee) and Lucas Moura (knock) remain sidelined, leaving Conte short of options at the Riverside Stadium tonight.

“We have the same players, the same squad that we had for Leeds,” manager Antonio Conte said Monday. “No Skipp, no Tanganga, no Moura, no Bentancur.”

Back-up goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini returns to the squad after missing two matches through illness.

With Spurs’ next Premier League game, at home to Everton, moved to Monday, Spurs have six days rest after ‘Boro and so Conte has opted for a strong side. Davinson Sanchez and Steven Bergwijn may have both hoped to start, but have to settle for a place on the bench.

Eric Dier and Heung-min Son both start, while Sergio Reguilon is among the substitutes after missing the last four matches.

With limited options in midfield, Harry Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg start again.

Tottenham XI: Lloris, Romero, Dier, Davies, Doherty, Winks, Hojbjerg, Sessegnon, Son, Kulusevski, Kane

Subs: Gollini, Royal, Reguilon, Rodon, Sanchez, White, Devine, Bergwijn, Scarlett

Where: The Riverside Stadium, Middlesbrough

When: Tuesday, March 1, 19.55 GMT

TV: BBC One
