Ange Postecoglou has sprung a few surprises with his Tottenham team selection against Manchester City.
James Maddison was benched against Ipswich at the weekend, but comes back into midfield against City, with Dejan Kulusevski making way.

Maddison will also captain the Spurs side as Heung-min Son is named among the substitutes with Wilson Odobert getting a start.
Postecoglou has made a big decision at full-back, with the in-form Djed Spence missing out due to Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie getting the nod on the flanks.
With Ben Davies (knock), Radu Dragusin (knee), Micky van de Ven (hamstring) and Cristian Romero (thigh) ruled out, Kevin Danso and Archie Gray will continue in the heart of the Spurs defence.
As Dominic Solanke (knee) and Richarlison (calf) are out, Mathys Tel leads the line again, while Lucas Bergvall and Rodrigo Bentancur have been Postecoglou’s preferred picks in midfield in the last two games and continue in the engine room.
Timo Werner is available again and is named on the bench alongside Dane Scarlett, Yves Bissouma and Son.
