Tottenham XI vs AC Milan: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Champions League today

Tottenham line up with the inexperienced duo of Pape Matar Sarr and Oliver Skipp in midfield for tonight’s Champions League trip to AC Milan.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Yves Bissouma have both had surgery this week - with the former set to miss the rest of the season and Bissouma facing seven weeks on the sidelines - while Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is suspended at the San Siro.

Hugo Lloris is also sidelined so Fraser Forster continues between the sticks but Cristian Romero is available again after serving a one-match domestic ban for the 4-1 defeat to Leicester on Saturday.

Ryan Sessegnon is Spurs’ other injured player after picking up a hamstring injury in training.

Clement Lenglet is preferred to Ben Davies in the back three while Emerson Royal returns at right wing-back in place of Pedro Porro, who endured a difficult debut against the Foxes.

Dejan Kulsevski, who joined Antonio Conte at his pre-match press conference, and Heung-min Son continue in the three front with Harry Kane, leaving Richarlison and Arnaut Danjuma in reserve.

Tottenham XI: Forster; Romero, Dier, Lenglet; Emerson, Skipp, Sarr, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son

Subs: Austin, Whiteman, Sanchez, Richarlison, Danjuma, Porro, Tanganga, Lucas, Davies, Devine
