Tottenham can book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League as they welcome Sporting to north London tonight.
Antonio Conte’s side go into the match with confidence low after back-to-back defeats against Manchester United and Newcastle, while they were also beaten by Sporting in Portugal when the sides met last month.
Spurs sit top of Group D though, winning both of their home matches so far and a continuation of that perfect run will seal their place in the knockout stages. Anything else though, and it will be a nervy trip to face Marseille next week.

Sporting come into the match after losing twice to the French side, picking up three red cards across those games, so are not in particularly confident mood themselves.
