Spurs tonight completed their preparations for the second half of the season with a 1-1 draw with Nice at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for their final friendly. Matt Doherty opened the scoring midway through the first half with a fine finish inside the area, before Antoine Mendy levelled the scores just 90 seconds into the second half.
With the likes of Harry Kane and Richarlison watching on from the sidelines and not involved after their recent World Cup exploits, it meant the likes of Harvey White and Pape Matar Sarr were afforded the chance to stake a claim. It was the senior stars who were the most lively, with Doherty scoring his fourth goal in three friendlies and Dejan Kulusevski acting as creator-in-chief for Bryan Gil, Emerson Royal and others.
