Liverpool go in search of a badly-needed Premier League boost as they travel to face Tottenham in a huge clash this afternoon.
The Reds have lost their last two matches in the league, away to Nottingham Forest and then against Leeds at Anfield, leaving them ninth in the table and ten points behind Spurs, though they do have a game in hand.
For Antonio Conte’s side, who secured top spot in their Champions League group with a last-gasp win over Marseille in the week, their victory over Bournemouth snapped their own winless run in the Premier League and kept them in the top-four.
Both sides will probably be looking forward to the break for the World Cup, Tottenham hampered by injuries and Liverpool needing a chance to restart after a poor first few months of the season, and the inconsistency the two teams have shown means it is likely to be an eventful 90 minutes.
