Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to avoid going further down the pecking order for European football when they welcome a Brighton & Hove Albion side that have an outside chance of securing Champions League football. The visitors have two games-in-hand over Spurs who have just a four-point lead going into this match.
The Albion are priced as the favourites at 6/4 with Betfred while Spurs are priced slightly out of that at 13/8 and a draw is 5/2. Roberto De Zerbi's side have scored more goals in Saturday 3pm matches than any other side in the Premier League with 28 in 14 matches whereas Spurs average two goals conceded per game in this kick-off slot this season - shipping 16 in eight.
It is the fairytale season for Brighton at the moment which will surprise many that it is the club that have had the better season than previous head coach Graham Potter who only last seven months at Chelsea. The Seagulls sit just four points behind Spurs in the Europa League spot and seven from Champions League spots with at least a game-in-hand over every team above them - and they still have to play all five teams above them too starting with Spurs.
