Tottenham will be without Heung-min Son, with Postecoglou revealing the forward was a “bit sore” after making his return from a hamstring injury against West Ham.
The Spurs captain missed training on Wednesday and will be left out of the squad to face AZ, but Wilson Odobert is stepping up his recovery and is in contention to play some part.
Djed Spence has trained individually after picking up a knock, but he is ineligible to play in Europe anyway after being left out of Spurs’ squad.
