Tottenham transfer round-up: Gabriel Jesus preference as Richarlison urged to join Arsenal

Tottenham continue to make waves in the transfer market this summer as Antonio Conte transforms his squad for Champions League football.

Spurs have already signed the likes of Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma and Fraser Forster but remain in the market for a host of players.

And while they may have backed away from a move for Christian Eriksen, Spurs will continue to pursue an aggressive strategy in terms of recruitment.

Here, Mirror Sport takes a look at the latest Tottenham rumours.

Jesus has Arsenal preference

Spurs are one of several clubs in for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, but he prefers a move to rivals Arsenal.

The Boot Room report that Jesus, who is valued at £43m, wants to link up with Mikel Arteta, who worked with him at City.

And that is potentially bad news for Spurs, who will focus on other targets if they can't persuade the Brazilian to change his mind.

Skriniar price drop

Tottenham could land Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar for £56m plus add-ons but they will face competition from PSG.

That is according to Sportitalia (via Football Italia), who claim Inter will then be in a position to sign Torino's Gleison Bremer, another Spurs target.

Skriniar's official asking price is £69m but Sportitalia say that fee is negotiable and that a deal is expected to be done at the lower figure.

Spurs target urged to join Arsenal

There is little love lost between Jack Wilshere and Spurs fans and the former Arsenal midfielder has risked their wrath once again.

He told t alkSPORT that he would like to see his old club sign Everton striker Richarlison - who has been linked with a move to White Hart Lane.

Spurs recently distanced themselves from reports they were close to doing a deal for the Brazilian, and now Wilshere has waded in saying he "deserves his chance at a top club."
