Antonio Conte has already bagged three major signings – Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster - to strengthen Tottenham's hand next season, but he wants at least three more.
After qualifying for the Champions League at Arsenal's expense, Conte does not want to settle for a lucrative run in Europe and treading water on the fringes of the title race: He wants to turn Spurs into contenders, not also-rans, and his transfer spree so far this summer shows he means business.
This means signing more players to improve the squad's depth and making sure a player like Harry Kane does not leave at any cost and is instead supported.
Here's the latest Tottenham transfer rumours.
Paratici favours Lyon over Christian
Although Spurs have been linked with a nostalgic reunion with former midfield linchpin Christian Eriksen, so far there have been no official moves to bring the Dane back to north London from Inter Milan.
And sporting director Fabio Paratici has reportedly turned his attention to Lyon's versatile midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who scored nine goals and provided six assists in 35 games for the French club last season.
Arsenal and Newcastle are also tracking the 24-year-old Brazilian, but football.london are reporting that Paratici has lodged an interest in Paqueta, who can play at the front of a diamond, centrally or on the right.
French sporting daily L'Equipe claim Paqueta wants to leave Lyon, who would want upwards of £51 million for him.
Bidding war for Raphinha hotting up
Blame it on global warming if you must, but another blast of summer isn't the only thing heating up in London this week.
According to The Times, Arsenal are about to fire the starting gun in the bidding war for exotic Leeds forward Raphinha, with opening bids expected to be in the region of £50 million.
But Tottenham and Barcelona will rival the Gunners for Raphinha's signature after the Brazilian winger's 11 goals last season helped Leeds cheat the hangman on the final day of term.
Kalajdzic: A tall story
At 6ft 6in, giant Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic would be easy to spot in the long grass – and four Premier League clubs, including Spurs, are allegedly chasing him.
According to Transfermarkt, Bundesliga big guns Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have already lodged an interest in the Austrian international.
But Spurs, Manchester United, Leicester and Chelsea are all in the market for a striker who offers height, as well as weight of goals, to their front line, and Tottenham are thought to be heading the queue of English clubs in the scramble.
