With the business end of the World Cup ahead, domestic clubs will now be thinking about December's return to action. Tottenham Hotspur are due to make the short trip across London to Brentford on Boxing Day as Antonio Conte's side look to make a statement.
Much has been said about Spurs' ability to challenge for trophies this season, as well as maintain their Champions League status under Antonio Conte. They'll be hoping to do exactly that, but Fabio Paratici and Co. will need to be active in the January transfer window to put the club in the best possible position moving forward.
Plenty of names have been linked as a result, so without further ado, let's take a look at the latest transfer rumours around N17 on Friday, December 2.

Marcus Thuram
According to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, via the Transfer Tavern, the Lilywhites could spring a 'surprise' January transfer as they line up a move for Thuram.
The journalist tweeted: "Courted by a slew of European formations, M. Thuram could wait until next summer to pack his bags, but a surprise cannot be ruled out this winter. According to some indiscretions, Tottenham could give it a try in January."
Endrick
Barcelona could drop out of the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, with Tottenham and Arsenal also said to be keen on the 16-year-old attacker alongside the likes of Chelsea and Real Madrid.
According to Marca, via HITC, the La Liga side aren't willing to invest heavily in a player that won't be able to play for the club until 2024, with Endrick unable to move to Europe until he turns 18 as Palmeiras look to earn a huge payday from their generational talent.
Weston McKennie
As per Tuttosport, the north London club have made contact with McKennie’s entourage over a potential move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The report adds that both Conte and Paratici are keen on securing a deal for the American.
