Here is your Tottenham transfer roundup on Saturday, January 28.
Pedro Porro timeline
Tottenham look set to finally complete the signing of their number one January target Pedro Porro from Sporting CP with just days left of the winter window.
Interest from north London had been prominent in the weeks leading up to the opening of the January transfer window, with talks taking place throughout, and now there is confidence on both sides a deal can be completed.

During the window, football.london understands that Spurs were prioritising signing a right wing-back and attacker. The arrival of Arnaut Danjuma on loan from Villarreal solved the latter and now Spurs are hopeful Porro can be their new wing-back.
However, there are some frustrations within Spurs that Sporting are dragging their heels in finalising the deal with some suggestions that it could be to ensure Porro plays in Saturday night's Taca da Liga final against Porto as they line up a replacement signing.
Spurs allowing Porro to play in the showpiece occasion would still leave three days for the final documents to be signed before deadline day on Tuesday. Fabrizio Romano has now revealed the stage of the deal and how it is very likely a deal is completed by the end of the weekend.
Maddison boost
Tottenham may have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Leicester City and England playmaker James Maddison in the transfer window. This comes after the Foxes have potentially already lined up a replacement for the midfielder.
A creative player has been a missing piece for Spurs since the arrival of Antonio Conte, with the side unable to land one in the summer window. Christian Eriksen was linked with filling that role as a free agent, but the Lilywhites didn't pursue a return as the Dane made a move to Manchester United instead.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Leicester City are in advanced talks to sign Brazilian winger Tete from Olympique Lyon. Discussions are now said to be at the final stages.
Newcastle have been the most interested club in acquiring Maddison but their move to sign Everton star Anthony Gordon in a deal worth £45million could impact any further deals. It remains to be seen whether Newcastle would be able to sign both as a result of their need to spend carefully in order to stay within Financial Fair Play (FFP) limits.
Gil exit stance
Sevilla boss Jorge Sampaoli has admitted he is interested in Tottenham star Bryan Gil ahead of transfer deadline day.
"Bryan Gil enters my profile because I called him personally last year in Marseille," admitted the Argentine, as reported by Spanish publication AS.
Ahead of the FA Cup win over Portsmouth at the start of January, Tottenham assistant head coach Cristian Stellini indicated to football.london that the winger would likely stay in north London for the remainder of the campaign after impressing in the first team.
"I think so, yeah," said the Italian. "He could and he's playing very well. We're so happy because he's another player we worked a lot with.
"He has a great, great, great improvement, because he trains every day 110%. He puts in all his energy every day and this is why he deserved to play a good [Crystal Palace] match to be important in that match, with an assist, and the last pass before an assist. It was a great match for him."
When pushed by football.london for a fresh update on Gil's future ahead of Saturday's FA Cup tie vs Preston North End, the assistant head coach said: "It's not a question that I can answer because I'm not involved in these types of decisions. My opinion is the same as three weeks ago so nothing has changed for me."
