Tottenham transfer news: Paulo Dybala 'offer', Lautaro Martinez price, Bastoni decision

After six solid weeks of positive results, Tottenham have slipped up within the last two weeks, taking just one point against Brighton and Brentford. Those results have seen them lose ground in the race for fourth place in the Premier League.

Spurs are now sitting in fifth place ahead of a huge few weeks in which they'll face Liverpool and Arsenal back-to-back, with the latter fixture likely going a long way to deciding who claims the final Champions League spot.

But whatever happens by the end of the season, Spurs fans will be confident going into the future, hopefully under Antonio Conte amid links to Paris Saint-Germain, who has helped them turn a corner over the last few months.

Should Spurs finish fourth, they should be able to entice some top players to the club this summer. Here are the latest rumours:

Spurs make Paulo Dybala offer

An Italian journalist has claimed that Spurs have made an offer for Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala. The Argentine is set to become a free agent this summer having failed to agree a new deal with the Turin club.

Tottenham's managing director of football, Fabio Paratici, signed Dybala for Juventus and reportedly remains close with the player. Dybala has not yet made a decision but is considering Spurs as one of his options, the report claims.

Lautaro Martinez price revealed

Spurs are one of many sides who are reportedly eyeing Inter striker Lautaro Martinez who could leave Italy this summer. Italian outlet Calciomercato have reported that the Argentine striker is unhappy at Inter and is eyeing Tottenham and Atletico this summer.

Martinez still boasts impressive stats though, scoring 16 goals this season whilst impressing against Liverpool at Anfield. Martinez had £92m release clause which had expired last summer, with the outlet reporting that an offer of around £60m could now see Inter sell the 24-year-old.

Corriere dello Sport have also reported that Spurs attempted to bring him in January, and will look to do so once more in the summer to pair him with Harry Kane.

Spurs not put off by Alessandro Bastoni asking price

Finally, Calciomercato have reported that Spurs will not be put off by Inter's asking price for highly-rated centre-back Alessandro Bastoni.

It was reported earlier this month that a left-sided centre-back to compete with Ben Davies is a priority for Tottenham in the summer and with Bastoni seen as one of a few names mentioned. Bastoni is rated highly at Inter, but only has two years left on his deal and has fallen down the pecking order this season.
