Djed Spence exit rejected
Brentford have made an offer to sign Tottenham youngster Djed Spence on loan this January, but football.london understands the Bees' offer was with an obligation to sign the defender on a permanent deal at the end of his loan spell. The Lilywhites are willing to let Spence leave this month, but only as a straight loan deal.
Pedro Porro contract
Tottenham appear close to landing their second signing of the January transfer window in the form of Sporting CP defender Pedro Porro. Spurs are said to be nearing an agreement with the Portuguese club that will reach roughly £39.5million in transfer fees, which is roughly the same as his release clause.
According to Fabrizio Romano, personal terms are fully agreed with a five-and-a-half-year contract readied that will take his stay until 2028.
