Antonio Conte has won his battle to get Tottenham's backing in the transfer market and is already plotting a clutch of new signings.
Conte wants to sign the spine of a new team as his side plan for Champions League football next season. And a timely £150m equity boost from owner Enic means the Italian finally has the bib bucks to spend that he craves.
Here, Mirror Sport rounds up the latest Tottenham transfer rumours
Harry Kane in contract talks
England captain Kane was the story of last summer as Spurs blocked his attempts to join Manchester City.
But with City signing Erling Haaland instead and Spurs back in the Champions League, the Evening Standard claim Kane has had a change of heart.
The Tottenham striker rejected a new contract only a few months ago but is now open to extending his time at the club. And talks about his future could now be held in pre-season about finishing his career at Spurs.
Villa raid on the cards?
Conte wants to reinforce his engine room with a combative midfielder in the window and has a number of targets.
And Spanish website Fichajes claims one of them is Aston Villa's rising star John McGinn, who has enjoyed a stellar season.
It is claimed McGinn is on a shortlist of midfield options that also includes Paris St-Germain's former Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye.
Spurs set huge £51m asking price for top defender
It is clear that Conte's top priority is signing a centre back to play in his back three alongside Eric Dier and Cristrian Romero.
But according to Calciomercato one of his main targets will not come cheap, with Inter Milan demanding bid money for Alessandro Bastoni.
The Italy defender is highly rated and Conte knows him well - but Spurs have been told it will cost them AT LEAST £51m to bring him in this summer.
