Tottenham team confirmed vs Manchester United: Yves Bissouma starts as Conte goes with 3-5-2

Antonio Conte has made just one change to his Tottenham Hotspur side to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

Spurs will be looking for a more positive result at Old Trafford than the one picked up in their match under Conte there last season as they were undone by a Cristiano Ronaldo hat-trick in a 3-2 defeat despite a good performance. This time around, the north London outfit will be wanting to travel home with a point or three against a United side now coached by Erik ten Hag.

The 3-5-2 formation has looked good in recent weeks whenever used, but Conte indicated pre-match that he wanted to keep with the 3-4-3 at Old Trafford as it's the system he's worked with the players the most on. However, that looks to have been a bluff as he goes with the 3-5-2 against United.

Ivan Perisic remains at left wing-back while Yves Bissouma comes in for the injured Richarlison to make it three midfielders in the centre of the park Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Dejan Kulusevski remains out of contention, while on the left of the back three, Ben Davies keeps his place despite the challenge of Clement Lenglet. Matt Doherty gets the chance to impress again at right wing-back, with Emerson Royal serving the final game of his three-match suspension.

Here is the team Conte has selected for the game in Manchester:

Lloris; Romero, Dier, Davies; Doherty, Bissouma, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic; Kane, Son. Subs: Forster, Spence, Tanganga, Sanchez, Lenglet, Sessegnon, Skipp, Bryan, Lucas.
