Tottenham star Son Heung-min has labelled Chelsea target Neymar the best player in the world ahead of Thomas Tuchel's crucial attacking summer transfer decisions.
Tuchel will have been delighted to see all the takeover talk and speculation come to an end after it was announced that Roman Abramovich's sale of the club to Todd Boehly and his Clearlake Capital consortium was 100% confirmed in a deal worth up to £4.25billion. Now, all focus turns to the summer transfer window which opens on June 11.
Defence is the priority for the Blues this summer with various key names set to depart meaning certain reinforcements like Jules Kounde and others will be needed if the likes of Cesar Azpilicueta and Andreas Christensen follow Antonio Rudiger out of Stamford Bridge.

Alongside this though, a new midfielder and a few new attackers are on the agenda - though both seem dependent on any outgoing business the Blues can conduct. Christopher Nkunku, Lautaro Martinez and Ousmane Dembele are three names reportedly on the wish list, but a more glamorous name could well eclipse the trio. With Kylian Mbappe staying at PSG, it has been reported that the Parisians are open to listening to offers for the most expensive signing to date in world football.
Neymar's contract does not expire until 2025, and has a current value of up to €50million (£42.6million) according to CIES football observatory. However, PSG would likely demand far more than that to sanction a sale, and Boehly and co will have to weigh up whether or not a marquee signing in attack is worth it.
If Tuchel, who has worked with the Brazilian star during their time together in Paris, was to sanction this expensive transfer operation for Boehly and his new board to conduct, the German certainly has some work in convincing the attacker to give England a go in the twilight years of his career.
"It's very true on my side that I want to stay at Paris Saint-Germain," Neymar recently told OhMyGoal. "Afterwards, no one has said anything to me. On my side, it's clear that I want to stay here at PSG."
The winger featured 28 times for the French outfit last season, directly contributing towards 21 goals. He's lifted 12 honours for PSG, though has failed to wrap blue, red and white ribbons around the Champions League. Could he achieve this feat in West London?
Well, if Son Heung-min's verdict is anything to go by, Chelsea should push hell for leather in pouncing on an uncertain situation that has been prompted by PSG's expensive decision to retain Mbappe. "Neymar is the best player in the world and I think I am working hard to become the best player in the world," Son said in a recent interview ahead of South Korea's international friendly against Brazil.
"So rather than being an issue like that Brazil has a lot of really good players and I think if our players do their best, to show what we have to show in the game then we can have a good result. Brazil has a lot of world-class players. Our players are also very much looking forward to the match itself. I think the most important thing is to play a good game by putting all our efforts into the match to show our best in front of a lot of fans."
