Everton forward Anthony Gordon looks set for an exit in the final week of the January transfer window as reports claim the youngster has failed to report for training for the past three days in hopes of making a switch. It comes during a time of uncertainty for the Toffees heading into the latter half of the season.
The Merseyside club sit second-bottom of the Premier League and managerless after the dismissal of Frank Lampard at the helm. With their financial difficulties, an exit for Gordon may be best for all parties, with Tottenham, Chelsea and Newcastle previously interested last summer.
That opportunity could see all three return for a deal, with Antonio Conte in particular discussing the need for depth up front, saying earlier this month: "There is Kane, Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski. When it happened that two of these [are injured], and this season it happened a few times, with Richarlison and Kulusevski, you are in trouble."

However, Spurs have already made their move in the market to cover this department, hijacking Everton's move for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma. The Netherlands international joins on a loan for the remainder of the season with an option to buy included in the deal.
That would appear to have covered an issue for Conte and could play a part in the club's stance on making a move for Gordon in the next few days. That's backed up by the fact that Sky Sports News reporter Michael Bridge has stated that reports of renewed interest for the youngster from Spurs are wide of the mark.
For the Lilywhites, it appears as though all focus is on a switch for Sporting CP right-back Pedro Porro before any final day chaos that may occur after.
