Tottenham sign Manor Solomon on free transfer to continue Ange Postecoglou rebuild

Tottenham have signed Manor Solomon to continue their summer revamp under Ange Postecoglou.

The Israeli winger, 23, joins on a free transfer after a spell at Fulham in which he scored five goals in 24 games last season.

Solomon has put pen to paper on a five-year deal after passing his medical earlier in the week.

Former club Shakhtar Donetsk had threatened to take Tottenham to court over the deal, having disputed FIFA’s ruling that allowed Ukrainian Premier League players to freely move clubs without a transfer fee amid Russia’s invasion of the country.

Postecoglou’s side has been refreshed with three new faces now after James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicardio’s arrivals earlier in the transfer window.

Dejan Kulusevski is also a Spurs player following his loan move from Juventus being made permanent, and Pedro Porro is due to follow suit and complete a permanent switch from Sporting CP.
