Tottenham Hotspur are wasting little time in bringing in new players to strengthen Ange Postecoglou's squad ahead of next season. Daniel Levy has backed the new Spurs boss with three new signings in the summer transfer window already - with departures also expected to be confirmed in the near future.
Lucas Moura has already left the club this summer upon the expiry of his contract after five-and-a-half years at N17. Clement Lenglet, who football.london understand are still considering a bid for this summer, has departed the club following the expiry of his season-long loan deal from Barcelona.
Dejan Kulusevski's loan move to Spurs from Juventus was made permanent in mid-June as expected, with the winger joining in a deal worth £25.6million on a contract until 2028.
Guglielmo Vicario's £16.3million transfer from Empoli was finalised last month as he became the first new signing of the Postecoglou er., with the player signing a five-year contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The 26-year-old will wear the No.13 shirt during his time in north London.
Tottenham followed that up by completing the £40million signing of James Maddison from Leicester City with the England international penning a long-term deal until 2028. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has been able to pull off quite the deal for the attacking midfielder amid previous reports that the Foxes would be looking to bring in £60million for Maddison.
Harry Kane's future remains uncertain ahead of next season, whilst Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could also leave the club after being linked with a switch to Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Wolfsburg's Micky van de Ven and Bayer Leverkusen's Edmond Tapsoba have been touted as potential defensive targets this summer. Harry Winks has also now departed north London after his £10million move to Leicester City was confirmed at the weekend.
