It has been a solid start to the 2022/23 Premier League campaign for Tottenham. Antonio Conte's side have secured seven out of nine points, beating Southampton and Wolves and drawing at Stamford Bridge.
This leaves Spurs currently second in the league, two points behind their north London rivals, Arsenal. The Gunners have had a perfect start to the season, winning all three of their first games.
Chelsea of course also took a point from the London derby against Tottenham and beat Everton, with their third fixture against Leeds being played on Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile Man United have had a woeful start, sitting bottom of the lead after defeats to Brighton and Brentford.

It is still very early in the season, so no real judgements can be made, with lots more fixtures to be played. Now it is time to look ahead to those upcoming matches and football.london compares Tottenham's next six, to some of their league rivals.
Tottenham's next six fixtures:
Nottingham Forest (A) - August 28
Spurs' first game against a newly promoted side is their next match, which will see a trip to the City Ground. Forest have won one, drawn one and lost one of their first three fixtures, which isn't bad for a side who were in the Championship last season.
Tottenham still need to improve on their performances from the last two games and this will be their chance to really show how far they have come.
West Ham (A) - August 31
Just three days later and the Lilywhites have another away clash, their second London derby and first mid-week fixture of the season. Tottenham will try and secure three points at the London Stadium, which they haven't done for a few years and this could be where more rotation is seen in Conte's side.
Fulham (H) - September 3
Tottenham won't then have long to prepare for a match against another newly promoted side in Fulham. A return to N17 for the fixture will hopefully give the Spurs side a boost, against Marco Silva's side, who currently sit fourth in the league.
Man City (A) - September 10
The Lilywhites will hope for a repeat of last season, when they travel to the Etihad Stadium. During the 2021/22 campaign, Spurs beat Pep Guardiola's side in both fixtures and Conte will hope that Tottenham can produce similar displays to get another win.
Leicester (H) - September 17
Another thrilling game last season was at the King Power Stadium, when Steven Bergwijn scored an injury-time brace. The first tie between the two sides is at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and the Foxes are yet to get a win this season, which Conte will hope his side can take advantage of.
Arsenal (A) - October 1
The first North London Derby of the season will be held at the Emirates. This was the case during the 2021/22 campaign and ended in a 3-1 defeat for Spurs, after a poor performance.
Both sides have improved and strengthened this summer and currently sit in first and second place in the league. This season is a big chance for both to close the gap on the likes of Man City and Liverpool and if either side can secure six points, it will send a clear message to those around them.
