Premier League football has finally returned! Tottenham restarted the season against Brentford although Antonio Conte's side could only muster a 2-2 draw at the Brentford Community Stadium.
Spurs had found themselves 2-0 down on Boxing Day after conceding goals to Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney. Harry Kane’s fine header halved the deficit and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg slammed home an equaliser but the Lilywhites had to settle for a point after making it nine consecutive matches in which they have conceded the first goal.
Conte will be hoping for a much better display when his side face Aston Villa on New Year's Day. But who do Spurs and the likes of Arsenal, Man City, Newcastle United, Manchester United and Liverpool face in the league over the next few weeks? football.london takes a look.

Tottenham
01/01 - Aston Villa (H) 2pm
Tottenham start 2023 with a home match against Aston Villa. Villa's struggles in the opening months of the season culminated in Steven Gerrard's exit, with the former England midfielder replaced in the hotseat by Unai Emery.
Their fortunes on the pitch have changed as a result of the Spaniard's appointment, although the former Arsenal man will be hoping for a response following a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on Boxing Day.
04/01 - Crystal Palace (A) 8pm
Faring very well at home against Crystal Palace in recent years, it has been a different story for Tottenham at Selhurst Park. Spurs have not won on their last four trips to south east London, with the team crashing to a painful 3-0 defeat on their last visit back in September 2021.
Selhurst Park is always a tough place to visit, and it will certainly be no different when Conte's men travel there for a match under the lights to round off their festive football.
15/01 - Arsenal (H) 4:30pm
The second North London Derby of the season takes place on Sunday, January 15. Embarrassed 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium at the start of October, Tottenham need to deliver a big derby performance for their fans and right the wrongs of the dismal defeat in N5.
It was an incredible atmosphere at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium when the sides met back in May, with Spurs' 3-0 triumph going a long way to helping them secure a Champions League place. A repeat would do just nicely come January.
19/01 - Man City (A) 8pm
Tottenham are pencilled in for a midweek trip to the Etihad Stadium four days after their showdown against Arsenal. However, the date for the Man City match could still yet change as the midweek slot may potentially be needed for FA Cup third round replays.
Winning 3-2 against Pep Guardiola's men back in February, it will be a different challenge for Spurs this time around as they will have to try and nullify Erling Haaland. Not the ideal week with Arsenal and Man City on the agenda, Spurs are going to need to repeat their heroics from last season if they are to keep pace at the top.
23/01 - Fulham (A) 8pm
Tottenham's final Premier League match in January sees them visit Craven Cottage for the first time since March 2021. Winning 1-0 on that occasion, Spurs will need to be at the top of their game if they are to be victorious in west London again with Marco Silva's men catching the eye on their return to the Premier League.
Liverpool only managed a point at Craven Cottage on the opening day of the Premier League season, with Manchester United requiring a last-minute winner to secure a hard-fought 2-1 win before league action went on pause.
05/02 - Man City (H) 4:30pm
Fixtures in February do not get any easier as Spurs are scheduled to welcome Man City just two weeks after their first league meeting of the season. With games against Leicester City, Chelsea and West Ham also to be played in February, it will be vitally important Conte starts the month with three points.
