Tottenham's next five Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur remain within touching distance of the Premier League's top four after edging past Brighton and Hove Albion in, somewhat, fortunate style at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.

Despite taking the lead through Heung Min Son's well-taken effort, the Seagulls soon equalised through a Lewis Dunk header and consistently threatened across the course of 90 minutes.

Roberto De Zerbi and co felt severely aggrieved to have seen two goals questionably ruled out for handball, whilst several other refereeing decisions also went against the visitors.

Spurs, however, sealed a vital three points to keep their UEFA Champions League qualification hopes alive courtesy of Harry Kane's strike 11 minutes from time.

Cristian Stellini's side currently sit fifth on 53 points three points behind Manchester United and Newcastle United who occupy fourth place and third place on 56 points, respectively.

Focus now turns to next weekend when Spurs welcome relegation-threatened Bournemouth, who have bolstered their survival prospects in recent weeks, to North London.

Bournemouth (H) - April 15

The Cherries are fighting relegation and could prove to be a difficult test for Spurs after beating Leicester City 1-0 on Sunday to move three points clear of the drop zone. Gary O'Neill's side have also beaten Liverpool this season and even went 2-0 up against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.

Tottenham beat Bournemouth 3-2 earlier this season and Stellini will hope his side can repeat that result by picking up another three points when the two sides meet for the second time this season.

Newcastle (A) - April 23

Newcastle are one of Spurs' main contenders for a top-four spot this season. Eddie Howe's side have, arguably, been the Premier League's surprise package, having won their last five top-flight fixtures.

A trip to St. James' Park is never easy and Tottenham will need to perform well if they are to pick up a positive result against the Magpies.

Manchester United (H) - April 27

As it stands, the Red Devils look well-positioned to snatch fourth place from Spurs. Erik ten Hag's side eased past Everton in Saturday's early kick-off.

Tottenham are in an uphill battle to secure Champions League qualification. However, a win here could suddenly change the whole dynamic and propel the North London outfit towards their goal.

Liverpool (A) - April 30

Liverpool, certainly, are not posing much of a threat to Spurs' hopes of clinching a top-four position. Jurgen Klopp's side have endured a disappointing campaign and appear set for a summer refresh once the transfer window opens.

Jurgen Klopp's side are nine points behind Tottenham but do have a game in hand. If the Reds are to win that game then they will move to within six points of the Lilywhites.

Liverpool next five fixtures:

Leeds (A) - April 17

Nottingham Forest (H) - April 22

West Ham (A) - April 26

Tottenham (H) - April 30

Fulham (A) - May 3

Manchester United next five fixtures:

Nottingham Forest (A) - April 16

Tottenham (A) - April 27

Brighton (A) - May 4

West Ham (A) May 7

Arsenal next fivefixtures:

Southampton (H) - April 21

Man City (A) - April 26

Chelsea (H) - April 29

Newcastle (A) - May 7
