Tottenham's next five Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal

Tottenham face a difficult end to the Premier League campaign with Champions League qualification far from confirmed. The next couple of weeks will define the Lilywhites' season, with clashes against top-four rivals Manchester United and Brighton on the horizon.

Cristian Stellini's side currently sit fourth on 50 points, with only eight goals separating themselves from the Red Devils who have two games in hand. The Seagulls sit sixth on 46 points and also have two games in hand over Tottenham.

Despite Spurs' disadvantage heading into the final weeks of the season, Stellini is confident of finishing in a Champions League place. Speaking to BBC Sport following the north London side's draw with relegation-threatened Everton, he said: "We are confident because we have a big squad with good players. Now we have a week to prepare for the next match. We are confident, absolutely."

So, with that being said, football.london has taken a look at Spurs' next five fixtures in the Premier League as they cling on to a place in the top-four.

Brighton (H) - April 8

Arguably the toughest fixture of Spurs' next five comes in April when they host Brighton. The Seagulls are among a host of sides in the running for a European spot after some impressive form under Roberto de Zerbi.

At this stage, this has the makings of a very important match with Brighton nine points adrift of Spurs, but with three games in hand. Brighton love controlling possession and so Spurs will be hoping they can hit them on the counter to get the win.

Bournemouth (H) - April 15

Bournemouth are fighting relegation and could prove to be a difficult test for Spurs after pushing Arsenal close in their 3-2 defeat at the Emirates Stadium. The Cherries followed up their great effort against the Premier League leaders with a shock 1-0 win against Liverpool.

Tottenham beat Bournemouth 3-2 earlier this season and Antonio Conte will hope his side can repeat that result by picking up another three points when the two sides meet for the second time this season.

Newcastle (A) - April 23

Newcastle are one of Spurs' main contenders for a top four spot this season. Eddie Howe's side have not been at their best in front of goal lately but are still performing to a high level.

A trip to St. James' Park is never easy and Tottenham will need to perform well if they are to pick up a positive result against the Magpies.

Manchester United (H) - April 27

As it stands, the Red Devils look well positioned to snatch fourth place from Spurs. While the two clubs are level on points, Erik ten Hag's side have two games in hand, so at least a draw from either will see them leapfrog the Lilywhites.

Tottenham are in an uphill battle to secure Champions League qualification. However, a win here could suddenly change the whole dynamic and propel the north London outfit towards their goal.

Liverpool (A) - April 30

Liverpool don't seem to be posing as much of a threat to Spurs' hopes of clinching a top-four position but, after proving they can turnover any side in the Premier League following their 7-0 win over United, they must not be written off.

Jurgen Klopp's side are seven points behind Tottenham and they also have a game in hand. If the Reds are to win this tie then the Lilywhites are suddenly under pressure to maintain a perfect record in the final ten games or so.

Arsenal (H) - April 9
