The Champions League is really heating up now. The draw for the round of 16 will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday morning, with Tottenham anxiously waiting to find out who they will face.
Everyone connected with Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will be watching on to see who the Lilywhites get drawn against in a two-legged last 16 encounter. Spurs cannot be drawn against another English side, nor can they face the other team from their group that qualified.
That rules out Liverpool, who finished second, and Eintracht Frankfurt, meaning Spurs can only draw six of the eight teams in the second pot in the draw. Going into their final Group D clash against Marseille top of the group, it was a rather eventful night in France as Spurs looked to be on the verge of elimination at half-time before the game was turned on its head.

All four Group D teams topped the standings over the course of the evening, with Tottenham coming out on top overall thanks to Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's stoppage-time winner. Already knowing a few potential opponents in the Round of 16 beforehand, the full list was confirmed on Wednesday evening when the group phase came to a conclusion.
PSG, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are all possibilities for Tottenham in Monday's Round of 16 draw which takes place at 11am. So what are the best and worst case scenarios for Conte's men in the next round?
Worst case scenario
There's one team that Tottenham fans will be desperate to avoid in the Champions League Round of 16 following some late drama on Wednesday evening. With PSG looking on course to top Group H ahead of Benfica, the Portuguese side secured pole position in the dying seconds after making it 6-1 away at Maccabi Haifa.
It means PSG are now a potential opponent for Tottenham in the next round rather than Benfica. Boasting the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar in their starting XI, Spurs will want to miss out on a tie against the Ligue 1 outfit at all costs if they want to go far in the competition.
AC Milan and Inter Milan will also be really tricky opponents if Spurs are drawn against either of them, although Chelsea did get the better of the former twice in the group stage. However, it's PSG everyone will be looking to avoid.
Best case scenario
Club Brugge are the choice of many when it comes to the best team Tottenham can face in the Round of 16. However, underestimate them at your peril as they did pick up some notable results in Group B.
Perhaps the favourite to finish bottom of the group with Porto, Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid in there, Carl Hoefkens' team secured home wins over Leverkusen and Atleti and then went and triumphed 4-0 in Porto. The Belgian side only lost one of their six fixtures and they will be confident of causing another shock come the Round of 16.
Given the need to avoid PSG as well as the Milan teams, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig may not be the worst opponents to get in the next round in comparison. Tottenham are going to be in for a very tough game whoever they draw in the next round, though.
