Antonio Conte must decide if the time is right to rotate a couple of his players for Tottenham's game at Nottingham Forest. Set to start a punishing schedule with matches coming every couple of days due to the Champions League commencing next month, Sunday's fixture may be the perfect chance to make a few alterations with the likes of Marseille and Man City on the agenda over the next fortnight.
When speaking to the media on Friday, the Italian stated that Cristian Romero and Oliver Skipp will be absent once again but they will hopefully be back training with the Spurs team next week. As well as the duo, the club will assess Lucas Moura and Bryan Gil ahead of the game in Nottingham as both missed training on Friday.
Mainly keeping things the same in terms of his team in the opening three Premier League games, the 53-year-old must decide if he persists with the same side that beat Wolves last weekend or he tinkers with his XI. The wing-back positions could be an area where there is rotation, with Matt Doherty and Ryan Sessegnon potential candidates to come in for Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic.

In midfield, Yves Bissouma will be pushing for his first Tottenham start and it could present the boss with a good opportunity to rest either one of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg or Rodrigo Bentancur. All eyes will be on Son Heung-min, though, after his struggles in front of goal recently, especially with Richarlison looking very bright off the bench.
While the Brazilian is doing everything right at the minute to give Conte a very tough call to make in attack, this may be the ideal game for Son to spark back into life with Tottenham expected to have a number of chances on goal against the newly-promoted side. As a result, the Brazilian will have to bide his time on the bench again to begin with but he will be introduced early in the second half if Spurs are not firing in the final third.
Here is the Tottenham team we believe Conte will start with at the City Ground.
Predicted Tottenham XI: Lloris; Sanchez, Dier, Davies; Emerson, Hojbjerg, Bentancur, Perisic; Kulusevski, Kane, Son
