Tottenham's players will reimburse supporters the cost of their tickets for Sunday's humiliating 6-1 defeat to Newcastle.
Spurs trailed 5-0 inside 21 minutes at St James' Park - statistically the second quickest a Premier League side has ever shipped five goals.
Acting head coach Cristian Stellini was subsequently dismissed on Monday and replaced by Ryan Mason, after which Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy met with the player committee - made up of captain Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Eric Dier - to discuss a positive end to another chaotic season.
In a statement announcing Stellini's departure, Levy said "ultimately the responsibility is mine" for the Newcastle defeat but the players have now agreed to pay back travelling fans.

In a statement on Tuesday, the players said: “As a squad, we understand your frustration, your anger. Sunday wasn't good enough. We know words aren't enough in situations like this but believe us, a defeat like this hurts. We appreciate your support, home and away, and with this in mind we would like to reimburse fans with the cost of their match tickets from St James' Park.
"We know this does not change what happened on Sunday and we will give everything to put things right, starting against Manchester United on Thursday evening when, again, your support will mean everything to us. Together – and only together – can we move things forward.”
Spurs face Manchester United at home in Mason's first game in charge on Thursday night.
