Tottenham player ratings vs Arsenal: Hugo Lloris blunder as Sessegnon, Lenglet and Son struggle

Hugo Lloris

Had a dodgy moment with his feet early on when put under pressure but he made up for it with a good save from Nketiah. Things got worse for the goalkeeper though when he pushed Saka's cross into his own net after the slightest of deflections from Sessegnon's leg. He made a couple of good saves from Odegaard and Nketiah but his mistake turned the match and they're becoming too frequent. 3

Cristian Romero

Picked up a harsh yellow card after slipping but didn't do much wrong after that from a defensive perspective other than stand off Odegaard too much for Arsenal's second goal. 6

Eric Dier

Played a perfect long pass into Sessegnon's path in the build-up to an early Son chance. Didn't do too much wrong defensively. 6

Clement Lenglet

Had an early clearance deflected across the box but had Lloris on hand to save Nketiah's shot. Had a tough night with Saka down the left. 5

Matt Doherty

A quiet game going forward but he defended well enough at the other end. 5

Pape Matar Sarr

Making his full Premier League debut in a North London Derby and he showed he doesn't look out of place. It was a tough assignment with Hojbjerg against Arsenal's midfield three but he worked hard and earned a standing ovation from a number of the fans when he went off. 6

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

Put in a perfect cross for Kane at the end of the first half. Worked hard as usual in a midfield duo as they took on the Arsenal trio. 6

Ryan Sessegnon

Played a great reverse ball into Son for a first half chance after making a fine run and then he was denied well by Ramsdale with a big second half opportunity as he played a one-two with Kane. However, he struggled with Saka at times and wasted a couple of really good opportunities to cross in the first half after bursting down the left. 5

Dejan Kulusevski

Had a quiet first half but looked dangerous after the break down the right and was Spurs' main threat before coming off late on. 6

Harry Kane

Was denied by Ramsdale either side of the break from a header and a swerving shot from distance, but this was not to be his night to go level with Greaves. Played in Sessegnon for a chance and also Son later on. Was a much bigger presence in the second half. 6

Son Heung-min

Forced Ramsdale into a save in the first half and had an effort deflected over but this was another sub-par showing from the South Korean. The Golden Boot winner is just not making the impact he is capable of at the moment. 4
