Fraser Forster
Made a good second half close range save from Diaz and then low down from Bennacer. 7
Cristian Romero
Picked up a booking for a mistimed challenge early in the game and then earned his second yellow for a wild late challenge with 11 minutes to go. Reckless and his third red card for the club in just a season and a half to go with the large number of yellow cards. One of those nights when he proved to be more of a liability than the top drawer defender he can be. 2
Clement Lenglet
Also received a yellow card for a flailing elbow midway through the first half which meant he would have miss the next game had Spurs progressed. Defended solidly enough though around that moment. 5

Ben Davies
Started the game solidly but got progressively sloppier in his play as the match wore on. 4
Emerson Royal
Offered little going forward on either flank, replacing Perisic on the left in the second half, before coming off after 70 minutes. 4
Oliver Skipp
A battling display in the centre of the pitch and one of the few to come out of the game with a bit of credit. 6
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
An autopilot for much of the first half but he upped his game in the efforts in the second half and tested Maignan with one shot on the run. 5
Ivan Perisic
Lasted just 52 minutes before being taken off. Took a big hit in the first half and struggled to offer anything down the left. 3
Dejan Kulusevski
Plenty of effort but he's really out of form at the moment and struggling to create much. 3
Harry Kane
Even he couldn't inspire Spurs with any real quality other than a late header that was saved on the line by Maignan. 3
Son Heung-min
A really poor night for the South Korean who could barely conjure anything up other than a late free-kick for Kane to head on. 3
Subs
Pedro Porro
Made a real difference when he came on with urgency down the right and he started to get the ball in the box and surged down the right. 6
Richarlison
Came on for Emerson but brought battling but no real quality to the front line. 3
Davinson Sanchez
Brought on for Kulusevski after Romero's red card and the change was booed. N/A
